Loudermilk - As Popularised by: Chet Atkins Transcribed By: Marcel Dadi as a part of a medley version c. 1976 Tabbed In TablEdit By: Steve J. McWilliam - 2000 Taken from the Marcel Dadi Record/Album: 'La Guitare A Dadi' - on the Tansatlantic label. This was the English Version - Record number: TRA 295 Some minor changes have been incorporated to bring it in line with the way I played it in the mid to late 1980's. Enjoy ! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ When Marcel Dadi arrived on the international guitar scene (1970s), following his signing with Transatlantic Records, some of his records included tablature booklets. Many experienced and aspiring acoustic guitarists tried, and succeeded, in mastering some of his transcriptions and compositions. One of the most popular of his transcriptions was his version of Chet Atkins playing of John D. Loudermilk's tune "Windy and Warm". However, on the LP record he played two versions one of which, this one, was played as a part of a medley. Here it has been extracted by itself but it can combine with "I Am A Pilgrim" and "Steel Guitar Rag" quite effectively. Give it a go - I hope you enjoy it !! ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ steve.mcwilliam@btinternet.com http://www.stevemcwilliam.co.uk/guitar/index.htm ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ TablEdit - the best tablature editing software for fingerstyle guitarists. http://www.tabledit.com/ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------c0w %).38 %).38
